History
It was founded in Novosibirsk in 1933 as a puppeteer studio at the Youth Theater . On May 1, 1934, the Puppet Theater opened the first season with the performance “Parsley Visiting Schoolchildren”. The first director was V. Vinogradov.
In the period from 1942 to August 1945, the theater was a branch of the Moscow Puppet Theater evacuated to Novosibirsk under the direction of S. Obraztsov . Later, Honored Art Worker of the Russian Federation G. Kudryavtsev, S. Gorbushin, A. Sviridenko, N. Leontyeva, A. Panin, Honored Worker of Culture N. Biryulya, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Gushchina O., Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation A. Korytny, S. Ivannikov, D. Sidorov, R. Vatolkin and others.
The theater building is located at ul. Lenin , d. 22, not far from the metro station "Lenin Square" .
To date, the repertoire of the theater has more than 25 performances. The theater regularly goes on tour around the country and abroad.
