Club career

A pupil of the school "Egnachems BC." He began his professional career at the Jonkoping Sedra club.

In 2003 he moved to Gothenburg , where, despite his young age, he showed a confident game in defense, became one of the leaders of the club and wore a captain's armband in several matches. As part of Gothenburg, Svensson became the silver medalist of the 2005 Swedish Championship.

In May 2006, for 600 thousand euros, Svensson moved to the Rangers , as part of the Rangers he played in the UEFA Cup . [1] He did not gain a foothold in the Scottish club and a year later was sold to Caen , the debutant team of the French League 1 . In Kan, he did not become the main player; in the 2008/09 season he spent 5 matches for the club’s reserve team in the amateur league [2] . In January 2009 he returned to Gothenburg. In the 2009 season, he didn’t make it to the main staff of Gothenburg and only went on to replace [1] .

Team Career

Carl Svensson played for the junior (U-17) and youth (U-21) national teams of Sweden. He played his first match for the national team on January 18, 2006 against Saudi Arabia . He was part of the national team at the 2006 World Cup , but did not enter the field (he was the youngest of the Swedish footballers announced for this tournament).
