Svampen ( Swede. Svampen , translated - mushroom ) - a water tower in the city of Örebro , Sweden . It was put into operation in May 1958. The height of the tower is 58 meters, it holds 9 million liters of water.

A copy of this water tower is installed in Riyadh , the capital of Saudi Arabia .

Tourist value

The tower is open to all comers from May 1 to October 31 annually. Since the opening, more than 8 million tourists have been here. A cafe and an observation deck are open to visitors on the top floor
