Aeronautical information

Aeronautical information - information about aerodromes, the structure of the airspace, radio frequencies, means of radio engineering support, necessary for planning and carrying out flights. It can be published in paper and electronic forms.

The structure of the airspace of the territory is information about the aerodromes (aerodromes) regarding the characteristics and actual condition of the aerodromes, about the order of air traffic in the area of ​​the aerodromes, about the airways and their equipment with radio-electronic means, as well as other information necessary for organizing, performing and managing flights . In each country, there are state aeronautical information services (AIS) that provide aeronautical information both for domestic use and for Jeppesen to publish for global use.

Aeronautical information is generally published according to AIRAC cycles. In the event of dramatic changes in the structure of the airspace, or changes that affect the safety of operations and require urgent notification to users, they can be published outside of AIRAC cycles.
