Biography
Tanya Bibina was born in the Erzya village of Chelpanovo, Atyashevsky district of the Mordovian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic , where she spent her childhood. School years were spent in the city of Gus-Crystal of the Vladimir region , where the parents moved to live. After graduation, she returned to her native Mordovia. She built a cement plant in the Chamzinsky region and a sugar factory in Romodanovsky.
Feat
On May 20, 1960, Tanya worked on a crane, moving reinforced concrete materials for objects of a sugar factory under construction. From an overwhelming squall wind, the crane blew off the mounts and rolled along the tracks to a dead end. The boom of the crane hung over the squat bathhouse, in which there were women with children. Tanya went downstairs, but when she saw this, she returned to the crane's cabin, took the arrow aside. People were out of danger. But the crane lost stability and, together with the crane operator, fell to the ground.
TN Bibina Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated August 6, 1960 was awarded posthumously the Order of the Badge of Honor .
