Factory History
By order of the Main Military Technical Directorate on August 1, 1915, on the Arzamassky tract near Nizhny Novgorod, near the village of Myza , the construction of a defense plant “for the production of telephone, telegraph, wireless telegraph and other electrical devices” began. The construction was carried out by JSC Russian Electrical Engineering Plant Siemens and Halske . In early 1917, the plant was commissioned and already in April released the first batch of 1,400 telephones. [2]
During the Great Patriotic War, the plant was subjected to massive aerial bombardment by German aircraft .
In 2009, the plant delivered four 55ZH6U radars to the Russian Armed Forces. [3] The completed order became the largest in 15 years. [3] [4]
In 2016, the plant began to develop a new direction - large-modular processing technology. For this purpose, new modular type production buildings with a total area of more than 1000 m² were built and commissioned, 43 units of modern equipment were purchased and mastered, 2183 technological processes were introduced, 797 technological equipment units were manufactured. Costs for technical re-equipment and modernization of production in 2016 amounted to 305.3 million rubles, financing of repair and construction works - 65.9 million rubles. The total investment amounted to 371.2 million rubles. 228 million rubles will be allocated for the development of the enterprise in 2017 [5] .
