Kim Chelström ( Swede. Kim Källström , Swedish pronunciation [kɪm ˈɕɛl.rstrœm] ; born August 24, 1982 , Sandviken ) is a Swedish footballer and midfielder . He played for the national team of Sweden . Member of the European Championships 2004 , 2008 , 2012 and 2016 , as well as the 2006 World Cup . Club career
He started playing football in the club "Partille" (a suburb of Gothenburg ). Chelstrom's first professional club was Hacken . In 1999, the club returns to the elite of Swedish football, in the same season, the debut of the 16-year-old midfielder. Career in the national team
On February 1, 2001, in a friendly match against Finland, Chelstrom made his debut for the national team of Sweden [21] . On September 6, 2003, in the Euro 2004 qualifying match against the San Marino national team, he scored his first goal for the national team .
Participated in the final tournaments of Euro 2004 , 2008 and 2012 , World Championships 2006 . He scored several important goals in the qualifying tournament of the Euro 2008 championship, including a beautiful goal against the Icelandic team from 45 meters.
