Chuprene ( Bulgarian. Chuprene ) is a village in Bulgaria . Located in the Vidin region , the administrative center of the Chuprene community . The population is 563 people. Not far from the village, 10 km to the south is Mount Mijur , the highest peak of the East Serbian Mountains , near the village there is the Chuprene Nature Reserve of the same name.
