Mechkul ( Bulgarian: Mechkul ) is a village in the Blagoevgrad region of Bulgaria . It is part of the Simitli community. It is located about 10 km southeast of the center of Simitli and about 23 km south of the center of Blagoevgrad . According to the 2011 census , 28 people lived in the village [1] , the predominant nationality is Bulgarians [2] .
