Political Situation
In the local kemstvo Malevo, which includes Malevo, the post of kmet (elder) is performed by Ilya Angelov Krystanov (a coalition of 2 parties: the Bulgarian Agricultural People's Union (BZNS) and the Union of Democratic Forces (SDS) ) based on the results of the election of the kmesty board in 2007 [1] .
