History
November 3-4, 1885, during the Serbian-Bulgarian war , one of the battles between the warring parties took place here [2] .
During the Second World War on September 13, 1944 near the city of Kula, the Vidinsky partisan detachment named after G. Benkovsky and the Bulgarian army soldiers who joined the partisans entered into battle with the advancing German units. The fighting continued until September 17, 1944 and ended with the retreat of German troops [3] .
