Jezerce ( Bulgarian: Jezerche ) is a village in Bulgaria . In some pre-revolutionary sources, the village is described under the names Ezerdzhi , Ezerzhi and Yerserzhi [1] . Located in the Razgrad region , part of the Tsar-Kaloyan community. The population is 2,049 people.

History
The village of Jezerce entered the history of war after the battle of July 14 (26), 1877 between units of the Russian imperial army and the Ottoman army , which became one of the key episodes of the Russo-Turkish war of 1877-1878 [1] .
Political Situation
In the local kzemstvo Jezerce, which includes Jezerche, the post of kmet (warden) is performed by Huseyin Reikhanov Huseyinov.
Kmet (mayor) of the Tsar-Kaloyan community - Akhmed Rejebov Akhmedov ( Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS) ) based on the election results.
