Population
According to the 2011 census, there were 1104 inhabitants [1] living in the village, of the surveyed residents who indicated their nationality: 1025 were Bulgarians ; 9 - Turks [2] .

Political situation
In Drangovo local kmettstvo, which includes Drangovo, the position of Kmet (headman) is performed by Vanya Dimitrov ( Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS) ) as a result of the elections, before that was Sevda Milkova Dimitrov ( Citizens for the European Development of Bulgaria (GERB) ).
