Brodilovo is located at the Strandzha Mountain, at the foot of the Golyamata-Papia volcanic massif, at the left bank of the Veleka River , along a ford across the river and the village is named, which is located 12 km south of Tsarevo , on the territory of the Strandja Natural Park .
Content
History
It is mentioned for the first time in 1498 as Perdrikoz. In 1898 there were 140 Greek dwellings and 10 Bulgarian dwellings in the village. By 1914, the Greeks were evicted into the territory of modern Greece, and in their place were displaced Bulgarians from Eastern Thrace . The first Bulgarian school was founded in 1913, and in 1928, in the chilishte . [one]
In the village there is a church of St. Panteleimon built in 1910 [1] year - a cultural monument [2] .

According to the 2011 census, 264 inhabitants lived in the village, 261 of them Bulgarians [3] .

Political situation
Now Brodilovo submits directly to the community and does not have its own Kmet. In the former brotherhood Brodilovo, which included Brodilovo, Dimitar Atanasov Dimitrov ( Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) ) served as the last Kmet (headman ).
