Bogutevo is located in the Rhodopes , 5 kilometers from Chepelare and 15 kilometers from Pamporovo , by the Chepelar river in its mountainous flow.
Content
History
In 1910 there were 688 Pomaks in Bogutevo [2] . After the Balkan Wars, in 1920, 198 inhabitants lived here. [3] . From March 1921, 32 families returned to the village from Turkey [4] .
Political situation
In the local Bogutevo capital, which includes Bogutevo, the position of Kmet (headman) is performed by Stefan Bankov Terziyski (the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS) ) according to the results of the election of the leadership of Kmet in 2007 [5] .
