Usman highway is one of the main trunk roads of the Lipetsk region . It passes through the territory of the Oktyabrsky district of Lipetsk , as well as the Gryazinsky and Usman districts of the Lipetsk region.
Asphalt pavement was laid in the early 1970s . The new asphalt road basically repeats the route of the provincial postal road Kozlov - Lipetsk - Usman - Voronezh, known since the 18th century .
The Usman highway connects the Lipetsk district Tractor (continuing Zelenaya street ) and the city of Usman (hence the name). The reserve road, considered part of the highway, begins at the intersection of Krasnozavodskaya and Metallurgists Streets, then goes around Traktorny Street , intersecting with the Red Banner Street , and then follows the 4-km section of the LKAD to the intersection with the main highway.
Part of the highway (closest to Lipetsk ) runs through the forest of the Lipetsk Reserve . Then it crosses mainly the fields. On the site from the village of Nikolsky to the village of Streletsky, the Khutor goes along the Tatar rampart. Further to Usmani it goes along the Gryazi - Voronezh railway line.
Bridges across the Dvurechka , Krivka and Izlegoshcha rivers were thrown along the Usman highway.
