Although he managed to capture the Gaza fortress of the Philistines and establish relations with the state of Israel, King Solomon ( Tel Geser was given to Judea as the dowry of Siamon, who became the wife of Solomon ), but Egypt remained extremely weak compared to the times of the New Kingdom.
