Creation History
- 1955 year. On November 14, the USSR Council of Ministers decided to build an enterprise for the production of weapons-grade uranium (now - OJSC “Production Association“ Electrochemical Plant ”” ) and a thermal power station at a site located northwest of the Zaozernaya station of the East Siberian Railway, in the area of settlements of Ust -Barga, Ilyinka, Lebedevka of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The cogeneration plant was designated as CHP No. 766 [3] .
- 1957 year. Work has begun at the CHP site to plan and prepare the territory for the construction of a power plant. In order to accelerate the construction, it was decided to use turbine units with a capacity of 150 MW instead of design units, but not ready for production, with a capacity of 200 MW.
- 1958, August 21. Fedor Pavranovich Baran was appointed director of the TPP No. 766 under construction [3] .
- 1960 year, autumn. The course of the Kan River was blocked for the construction of a hydroelectric complex.
- 1961, July 10. At 1 hour 30 minutes the first power unit of the power plant was launched. The first inclusion of the unit in the power system was performed by Evgeny Andrianovich Pechenkin, senior station engineer on duty.
- 1961-1964 years. Power units No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 were commissioned as part of the first stage of the power plant.
- 1967, April 29. For the first time, a voltage was applied to the 500 kV Kamala-1 substation via a power line.
- 1974-1976 year. Power units No. 6, 7, 8 were commissioned as part of the second stage of the power plant.
- 1981-1983 Power units No. 9, 10 were commissioned as part of the third stage of the power station [4] .
