Signs of the predominant right of way (also - priority signs ) are road signs according to Section “B” of the Vienna Convention on Road Signs and Signals .
Regulate the passage of intersections and bottlenecks on the roads. They come in different shapes, but the signs 2.1, 2.2, 2.4 and 2.5 have no analogues, which greatly facilitates the recognition of these signs from anywhere on the road and determining the benefits of a particular direction of movement. The signs “ give way ” and “ no stopping is prohibited ” are the same both in the standards corresponding to the Vienna Convention and in the American standard.

In the USA, there is no group of priority signs: of all the signs, only “ give way ” and “ no stopping traffic is prohibited ” signs remain, however they can be combined with other signs.
