Ram-Zet is an avant-garde metal band . Formed in Norway in 1998. It all started with the fact that the vocalist and guitarist Zet created his own individual project, which later developed into a full-fledged group with the arrival of drummer Küth, and bassist Solem, who directed the release of Ram-Zet's debut album called Pure Therapy in September 2000. Classification of the genre
Ram-Zet music is very diverse: from black to thrash metal . They use industrial sounds, a progressive style, and folk instruments to form a style that some, including the group leader, call "schizo metal." Their music contains many rare, unconventional, harmonies and unusual violin parts. They can be regarded as an avant-garde metal band due to the wide range of genres used by the band. The lyrics of the group are related to the topic of schizophrenia . Shaping a story that covers all three albums, they characterize two main characters: a schizophrenic patient in a dubious psychiatric hospital (sung by Zet) and a nurse who is trying to help him.
Fourth album
On March 17, 2007, at the official Ram-Zet forum, Sfinx announced that Ram-Zet was working on a new album and would soon announce its release. [2] Later in March, this information was confirmed in the news section on the Ram-Zet website. The news reported that the group had already rehearsed six new songs and was working on the rest. [3] [4] It was rumored that the album would be released closer to the end of 2007, but was delayed when Zet went on tour with Ride the Sky as a keyboardist / guitarist. [five]
Fifth Album
