Krupenino is a village in the Smolensk region of Russia , in the Demidov district . The population is 3 inhabitants ( 2007 ) [1] . It is located in the north-eastern part of the region, 17 km west of Demidov, off the Demidov- Ponizovye highway, on the left bank of the Kaspla River. It is part of the Poluyanovsky rural settlement .

North of the village on the banks of the Kaspl River is the largest boulder in the Smolensk region. Dimensions 6.5 × 4 m, height 2 m [2] .
