Šeškinė ( Š I škine , lit. Šeškinė ) is one of the districts of Vilnius . It is located north of the central part of the city on the right bank of the Vilija ( Neris ) river and forms a village headquarters (syanyuniyu; Šeškinės seniūnija ). Sheshkine district is a group of six housing estates built in 1978-1985.

Sheshkin is the second largest in Lithuania and the largest indoor area in Vilnius - Siemens Arena , as well as the adjacent home area of ​​the Lietuvos Rytas basketball club and the unfinished National Stadium . In addition, the Akropolis shopping center ( VP Grupė ) is located here - one of the largest in Eastern Europe.
