Bustakh ( Yakut. Buustaakh ) is a large fresh thermokarst lake in the north of Yakutia ( Ust-Yansky district ).

The lake is located in the north of the Yano-Indigir lowland on the coast of the Laptev Sea . The area of the lake is 249 km². The western part of Bustakh is connected to the Tonkay-Koyol lake, which, in turn, is the source of the Suruktakh River, which flows into the Laptev Sea. The southern and northern shores are steep and severely indented.
Type of food - snow and rain. From September to June - it is covered with ice.
The lake is rich in fish resources.
The rivers Arkhip-Yuryage [1] (Arkhip-Yuryue [2] ) and Bustakh-Deering-Yuryue [1] flow into the Busts.
