LAPD (“Love and Peace, Dude” - English. Love and Peace Dude , later “Laughing at the way people die” - English. Laughing as People Die ) - American rock band, best known for its members future Korn musicians (with the exception of Jonathan Davis , who before Korn sang in another American rock band, Sexart ).

Biography
LAPD was formed in the late 80s in Bakersfield , California . By signing with Triple X Records , the band released the 1989 EP Love and Peace, Dude . The full-length album Who's Laughing Now followed May 3 , 1991 , but after a year of touring Addicted Morill, left the band. The band's musicians met vocalist Sexart Jonathan Davis during a performance at the club, and decided to move to Los Angeles , where they began anew under the name Korn . The full LAPD record was released in 1997 and included Love and Peace, Dude EP and Who's Laughing Now .
