Biography
From an early age, Irina was engaged in rhythmic gymnastics for eight years. At the age of 15, having graduated from eight classes, she left for Gorky , where she entered the Gorky Theater School . A year later, assistant director Viktor Titov arrived at the school, who was preparing to shoot the sports drama Miracle with Pigtails at Mosfilm . Taking her photo, the assistant left. Then, Irina was called for testing several times, after which she was finally approved.
Then her photo, which got into the Mosfilm file cabinet, was noticed by director Alexander Mitta . He proceeded to the film "The Tale of How King Peter the Arapa Married ." Samples followed, after which Mitta hesitated for some time between the candidacy of Mazurkevich and another applicant. The choice fell on Irina thanks to Vladimir Vysotsky , to whom the director turned to the question with whom he would like to act.
In 1977, Irina graduated from the Gorky Theater School (workshop of Nikolai Selivestrovich Khlibko ). In the graduation performance “Much Ado About Nothing,” I.P. Vladimirov , the main director of the Lensovet Theater, drew attention to her. He was chairman that yearHES and immediately invited her to his troupe. Irina, like all aspiring actresses, had to go through extras . Together with Larisa Luppian (the wife of Mikhail Boyarsky ) in the play “Lefty”, they took turns dancing a flea and depicting people [4] [5] .
Irina Mazurkevich and Anatoly Ravikovich were brought together by the play “ Kid and Carlson ”, in which Irina played the Kid, and Anatoly, respectively, Carlson. They got married in July 1980.
In 1979, she played in the musical comedy Naum Birman " Three in a boat, not counting the dogs ." Then came the role in Eldar Ryazanov ’s film “ Say the Word About the Poor Hussar ”. In the future, sometimes the actress herself refused roles, sometimes she was called up for audition and not approved. Only in the late 1980s - early 1990s did she play several large roles. In the theater, she was not busy as often as she would like. Among the rare large works are the performances “Hurry up to do good” and “Zinulya”, which remained one of the most beloved for the actress.
Seeing no future for herself, Irina Mazurkevich left the Lensovet Theater in 1988 and moved to the N.P. Akimov Comedy Theater , where she gradually became one of the leading actresses. In her repertoire:
- Zoya Peltz in the play “ Zoykina Apartment ”;
- Mrs. Page - Windsor Pranks ;
- Steffi Blondel - “I Want to Make a Movie”;
- Emilia Marty - Macropulos Remedy .
In the play “The Means of Makropoulos” based on the play by Karel Chapek, the heroine Irina Mazurkevich fights for the recipe for eternal life, but, after all, after living 300 years and comprehending the entire measure of loneliness of a person living indefinitely, she abandons eternal life.
