The team played in the first and major leagues (five seasons) of the USSR men's volleyball championship [2] .
In 1991, the team took second place in the USSR championship in volleyball among men.
In 1992, the team won first place in the USSR men's volleyball championship.
The team played: Igor Lobodyuk , Viktor Kolomoets , Andrey Yakubovsky , Evgeny Kovtun , Mironenko , Alexander Shadchin , Yuri Korovyansky , Valdis Lauskis [2] .
Almost all the players of the old squad began to play in foreign clubs, the club had problems with finances, and the team ceased to exist [2] .
