“We found a stone house enormous, and the owner assured us that this is one of the wings of the future castle. The rooms inside are tall, filled with many mirrors, and, for the most part, made of solid glass. Everywhere there were many bronzes; in one room, furniture upholstered in silk French material, according to Count Ilyinsky, from the little Trianon , owned by Queen Marie Antoinette. Horn music began to play in the big hall, and we all went to listen to it with great pleasure. The next day we were treated to opera and ballet. Count Ilyinsky wrote out Italian singers and choreographers from Odessa, and one of his actresses had an excellent voice, as well as several very respectable dancers. The costumes were rich, but we saw these unhappy after the performance almost in rags ” [2] .
The count's estate burned down at the end of the 19th century. The status of an urban-type settlement was assigned in 1924. In 1933 it was renamed to Dzerzhinsk. The historical name was returned 80 years later (Resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine No. 1076-IV of July 9, 2003).
