Teotonio Vilela ( port. Teotônio Vilela ) is a municipality in Brazil , part of the state of Alagoas . A component of the Alagoas East mezoregion . Included in the economic statistical microregion Sao Miguel dos Campos . The population is 41,498 people ( 2008 ) [1] . It covers an area of 299.1 km².
