Story
Thousands of years before the Spanish conquistadors landed on the American continent, a powerful state existed in the territory of modern Mexico and Central America - the kingdom of Maya . About a thousand years ago, this highly developed community, which built cities and structures of amazing beauty and an often unknown destination, for an unknown reason, came to a tragic end. The team of filmmakers and the National Geographic Society are trying to find answers to many mysterious questions left by the ancient Mayans.
