Story
The plot mimics the plot of the novel "Dracula" by Bram Stoker. Renfield is sent to Transylvania to Count Dracula, who hypnotizes him and turns him into his slave , after which he leaves Transylvania for Carfax Abbey, where he begins to act outrageous.
Lucy becomes his first victim. Dracula comes to her twice. For the first time, a graph in the form of a bat flies into the window. The girl loses half of her blood and cannot even get up. Then, on the advice of Professor Van Helsing, they put her in another room and hang her with garlic . Dracula frees Renfield and instructs him to remove the garlic, but he betrays himself. As a result, Dracula himself, using hypnosis, makes the girl go out and kills her. He decides to do the same with Mina. Lucy, meanwhile, resurrects, and begins to live a vampire life. Fortunately, the professor and Harker kill her. That same night, Dracula carries out his treacherous plan. After a long and painful analysis, the count kidnaps Mina, then bites. In the morning, Van Helsing discovers a bite on Mina's neck.
The professor offers to arrange a ball (and begins a verbal duel on the ancient Moldavian words with the count). At the ball, they suddenly open a mirror and realize that Dracula is a vampire. The count runs with Mina to an abandoned chapel (he realizes that they will look for him in his abbey). Renfield inadvertently calls him "overlord." Unpersuasive deception fails, and he gets into the camera (however, only for a few seconds). He is released, Renfield runs without looking back (confusing traces, not leaving the building) to the chapel (due to the fact that this film is a parody, Renfield, unlike the original of the novel, is incredibly stupid) . Dracula strangles him and leaves. Seward, Harker and Van Helsing are catching up. A small battle ensues, during which the count almost defeated the people. Suddenly dawn began, the professor opens the window and forces the vampire to hide. But suddenly, Renfield opens the sunroof, trying to help the "owner", but kills him. Later, he collects the ashes and squeezes a smiling face on him, trying to become a slave to Seward. Professor Van Helsing completes the verbal duel with Dracula. However, there is a kind of “ Easter egg ” in the film - after the end of the final credits in the dark, a quiet laugh of Count Dracula is heard and he pronounces the last word, as if winning the fight against the director Mel Brooks, who played the role of Van Helsing.
