History
The status and boundaries of the urban settlement are established by the Law of Smolensk Region dated December 2, 2004 No. 89-z “On Granting the Status of the Municipal District of the Monastyrshchinsky District” Municipal Formation of the Smolensk Region, on Establishing the Borders of the Municipalities, the Territories of which They Are Part of, and Allocating Them with status ” [2] .
