Macapa ( port. Macapá ) is a city and municipality in Brazil , the capital of Amapa . A component of the South Amapa Mesoregion. It is part of the large metropolitan metropolitan area Macapa . Included in the Macap economic and statistical microregion. The population is 398,204 people in 2010 . It covers an area of ​​6 502.119 km² simultaneously in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. History
