The sister of the famous Chelyabinsk revolutionary Rita Isaakovna (Aizikovna) Kostyanovskaya. Since 1902 she lived in Chelyabinsk . Father - Avsey Krivoy is a handyman. Mother - Hana Moiseevna Kostyanovskaya. Sonya graduated from the parish school, entered the girls' gymnasium. She was engaged in a circle of political self-education, carried out a number of clandestine tasks, including organizing fundraising among students to help political prisoners. At age 14, she was arrested for the first time for connection with the organization of the RSDLP (b) , but was released as a minor. After expulsion from the gymnasium, she worked as a student, then as a pharmacist in a pharmacy. In 1915 she joined the RSDLP (b), was a member of the leadership of the union of medical workers. After the February Revolution, she was at party work in Troitsk , then in Chelyabinsk she took an active part in the work of the headquarters for the formation of Red Guard detachments. During the period of struggle against the "Dutovschina" - commissar and machine gunner of the Red Guard detachment. After the seizure of the city, the white-cherished she was part of the underground city committee of the RCP (B.), Campaigned among the soldiers, was responsible for safe houses and safe houses. Companions called her "the mother of the underground organization." In February 1919, she participated in the congress of representatives of underground organizations of the Urals and Siberia (in Omsk ). Then, on the instructions of the leadership, she visited a number of Siberian organizations with the aim of preparing an uprising. Upon her return to Chelyabinsk, she was arrested on March 29. After interrogation and torture, she was transferred to the Ufa prison, where she died on the night of May 17-18, 1919.
