Story
Stuck in the village cottage of his late grandfather without a TV, Antey, Robert, Cyril and Jane are doomed to a boring week until they find an old, moldy carpet and a strange golden egg. When an egg accidentally enters a fire, a mythical fire bird - the golden phoenix - hatches from it. So begins an amazing journey and adventure, because the phoenix will take them to the land of magic, miracles and fantasy, where they will get with the help of a magic carpet-plane.
Interesting Facts
It is noteworthy that the phoenix has five feathers growing on its head - according to the director, this is a reference to another Nesbit work - five children and that.
