Hayes Alan Jankins ( born Hayes Alan Jenkins ; born March 23, 1933 in Akron (Ohio) [1] ) is an American figure skater , leader of men's single skating for 4 years from 1953 to 1956. He won four world championships in a row from 1953 to 1956. He is also the 1956 Olympic champion .

His brother David Jenkins won Olympic gold in 1960. Jenkins later married Carol Hayes , a 1956 silver medalist and 1960 Olympic champion in women's single skating . He graduated from law school and worked as a lawyer in a private law firm.
