Pavlovo is a village in the Smolensk region of Russia , in the Vyazma district . Population - 1 resident (2007). It is located in the eastern part of the region, 20 km north-west of the district center, on the Vyazma - Kholm-Zhirkovsky road. Included in the Maslovsky rural settlement.

History
In October 1941, fierce battles were fought around the village (see Moscow Battle ). Here, the troops of the 24th Army of the Reserve Front tried to break out of the encirclement (the so-called “Vyazemsky boiler”). An artillery unit of the Hitler army was located in the village [1] .
