Pachycereus ( lat. Pachycereeae ) is a tribe of pillar-like cacti from the subfamily Cactoideae of the Cactus family ( Cactaceae ).

Some plants from pachycereusovyh can reach a height of 20 m and weigh up to seven tons.
The natural habitat of the tribe is Central America , Mexico , and the southwestern United States .
According to the Backkeberg classification , most of the genera from the pachinotsereusovy belonged to the subtribe Northern Cereus cacti ( Boreocereinae Backeb. ) Cereus tribes ( Cereeae Britton et Rose ) of the Cereus ( Cereoideae Schum. ) Subfamily .
