History

In 1988, the Institute "Nizhegorodmetroproekt" during the preliminary design of the Ufa metro came to the conclusion that it is impossible to use the existing intracity railway for urban passenger traffic due to its remoteness from residential areas, the complexity of the approach and the entrance).

In 2001, the proposal to use the railway for mass urban transportation in the following sections reappeared: Dema-Ufa-Shaksha, Dema-Ufa-Zagorodnaya, Dema-Ufa-Petrol. Thus, it was planned to cover the industrial areas of Severny (where 70 thousand people work), Likhachevsky (50 thousand), Shaksha (7 thousand), Dema (5 thousand). However, this could be realized only after carrying out a number of serious events: building a second track on the southern bypass via Yurmash station to take transit cargo flows out of the city, building a new station at Urshak station to serve suburban and long-distance passenger trains of the southern direction, building an electrified railway. to the airport, the construction of new stopping points near the airport and in the city to enter the city and transfer to the street transport, the construction of a number of heating lines over railways for highways, reconstruction of the railway station, etc.

In 2005, the project of organizing a city electric train line (“ground metro”) from the airport and areas in the south of the city through the entire city (17 stations) with branches to the outskirts: northern (Zagorodnaya, 9 stations) and northeast (Shaksha , 3 stations). The project promised the following: “A closed landing platform will be built at the Airport station. The existing stations will be reconstructed and new ones will be constructed within the city center and the new one: Balanovo (in a promising residential area outside Doyoma at Armenian Street), Zatonskaya "(In the central area near the road bridge over the Belaya River to the residential area of the same name)," Belsky Park "(in the area of October Revolution Avenue). Since the stations in the city center are located in the floodplain lowlands relative to residential quarters and streets, they will be provided for original vertical transport systems from landing platforms — escalators — travelrs and vertical lifts (large elevators ). Thus, at the Right Belaya station with a lifting height of 45 meters, the length of the escalator will be 60 m, at Ufa-Vokzal station - 59 and 320 m ; at Zatonskaya station - 92 and 400 m, at Belsky Park station - 58 and 200 m. Thanks to such unusual architectural and engineering solutions, these modern station complexes will become a landmark of the city. The procedure for payment and the fare in the "aboveground metro" will be equal to other urban transport. The operator of city trains will be the enterprise "Bashtransprigorod".

In 2006, a feasibility study of the “aboveground metro” was approved. The preparatory and main construction works on its construction were to begin in 2008-2010 . Fully put the "ground metro" in operation was scheduled for 2015.

In 2009, in Ufa, the movement of electric trains along the long intracity branch to Zagorodnaya station “due to the lack of passenger traffic” was canceled, and for the same reason, the movement of electric trains along the remaining main branch was reduced to 4–5 pairs per day (against 20–25 to the best time).

On September 21, 2012, the city's electric train from Ufa station to Shaksha station (4 pairs per day, ticket price - 36 rubles, child - 11 rubles, travel time - 33 minutes) [1] . Soon, the Ufa mayor Irek Yalalov announced plans to extend the route to Dema station [2] and to build 11 renovated stations with entrances, approaches and even intercepting parking lots [3] .

On November 25 of the same year, the city electric train was canceled due to lack of demand. In just two months, only one thousand passengers took advantage of it [4] .

In 2013, Irek Yalalov said that while the new eleven stations of the city electric train will not be built, the train will not be allowed.

From June 12, 2014, the train plied daily “in a circle”, leaving Dema in the morning, passing through Ufa and Shaksha to Iglino , then from Iglino she was driving back to Dema , but through Yurmash and Chesnokovka . In the evening, the train was returning back on the same route. The decision to open the route was made at the request of the passengers who have summer cottages in this direction. From September 1, the train began to run only on weekends, and since October 2014 it was canceled.

OJSC “Bashkortostan Suburban Passenger Company” has launched a new transport project “Tolpar”, which provides for the daily movement of electric trains within the city of Ufa.

From September 15, 2015, on the Dema - Ufa - Shaksha railway section, five electric trains run: two trains (6211.6215) in the morning and one train (6217) in the evening from Shaksha to Dema , one train (6214) in the morning and one train (6216) in the evening from Dema to Shaksha . Travel time along the entire route is 40-50 minutes. The electric train allows you to get from Chernivtsi to Ufa’s station in 20 minutes, while it takes about an hour by bus . Electric ED4M or ER2T electric trains consisting of four cars are operated on the line.

The fare is the same regardless of the distance and is 21 rubles (a ticket for the city electric train). This tariff is valid from the station " Dema " to the station " Shaksha " on any electric train.

You can buy a ticket in the train itself or at the station with a cashier. At the Ufa train station you can buy a ticket in the self-service terminal. Since most of the ordinary commuter trains travel only from Ufa or to Ufa , the city's electric train allows you to drive through Ufa without a long wait for a transfer.

Daily passengers "Tolpar" are up to 500 people.

From November 28, 2015, some trains began to run only on weekdays, “since gardeners and summer residents stopped driving.” [5] .

From February 15, 2016 the city electric train runs only on weekdays.

From July 25, 2016, at the request of Ufa students and pupils, Wi-Fi appeared on the trains of a city train.

From November 1, 2017, some trains pass between Shaksha - Dema stations as a city train, and change numbers in Deme and follow as a commuter train:
