Turdion ( Italian. Tordiglione , Fr. Tourdion, Tordion ) - an energetic dance , common in the XV and the beginning of the XVI century in Burgundy . In Italy, this dance is called tordilone ( Italian. Tordiglione ). Turdion is like a galliard dance, but is described as faster and smoother [1] . Pierre Attenyan made turdion popular by publishing his notes. Tuano Arbo later contributed information about turdione to his work Orchezography , published in 1589 .
