"Earth 2" ( Eng. Earth 2 ) is a sci-fi television series that aired in the United States from November 1994 to June 1995. The show was closed after the first season of 22 episodes. It tells of the journey of a small expeditionary group to a planet similar to Earth , G889, to find a cure for an illness called the Syndrome.

Story
In 2192, most of humanity left Earth to live in large orbiting space stations. The land has become virtually uninhabited, with the exception of a small number of people who still live on it.
8-year-old Ulysses Adair, the son of billionaire Devon Adair, contracted a rare deadly disease, the Syndrome, which is not known to the authorities or the entire medical community. A theory was put forward according to which this is a purely childhood disease and it is caused by the lack of an environment similar to the terrestrial one. Most babies who are born with this disease live no more than nine years old. Desperately trying to save his son, Devon collects an expedition that will try to land on a planet located 22 light years from Earth, so that families with the same children can move there.
Twenty-two years later, the ship arrived on the G889, but crashed when landing on the wrong side of the planet where the landing was planned. Individual members of the group are scattered throughout the planet. And so they begin their long and dangerous journey to the right place.
