Deutscher filmpreis

Deutscher Filmpreis is Germany's highest national film award. Also known as Lola. In 1951-2004 it was awarded by the government commission, since 2005 - by the German Film Academy [1] . The total prize pool of the prize is about 3 million euros allocated from the state budget.

Since 1999, the award has been a figurine in the form of a female figure in a red dress. The name “Lola” is given to the heroines of popular films by famous German directors: Marlene Dietrich in the “ Blue Angel ” by Joseph von Sternberg , Barbara Zukov in the film “ Lola ” by Rainer Werner Fassbinder and Frank Potente in “ Run, Lola, Run ” by Tom Tickver [2] [ 3] .
