Yener, Hande

Hande Yener ( tour: Hande Yener ; born January 12, 1973 , Istanbul ) is a Turkish singer and songwriter. She introduced a new original style in Turkish pop music and for this reason very quickly became one of the most popular singers in Turkey.

Her career, like that of many popular Turkish singers, began with meeting Sezen Aksu . They met in 1992 in a department store, where Hande worked as a saleswoman. Sesen soon took Hande to her group as a backing vocalist, and besides that she was Aksu's assistant.

Hande released her debut album in 2000 under the name "Senden ibaret" (All About You). The second album, Sen Yoluna Ben Yoluma, was released in 2001 with a hit such as Sen Yoluna Ben Yoluma.

Later in 2004 , Hande released her third album, “Aşk Kadın Ruhundan Anlamıyor”, which had six hits and which brought some international fame to Hande. Despite this success, Hande Jener decided that she needed to change her image and in 2006 released her new Europop -style album and changed her appearance to match the name of the album “Apayri” (a completely different one). On May 10, 2007, Hande released her fifth album, “Nasıl Delirdim”.
