Tetradrahma ( dr. Greek τετράδραχμον ) - ancient Greek silver coin in 4 (four) drachmas . It was also in the money circulation of Ancient Rome and Judea , equal to three Roman denarius . Weight from 15.5 grams (Rhodes, or Phoenician-Rhodes, coin system) to 17 grams ( Attic coin system ). Tetradrachms began to be minted in Athens around 510 BC. e.
