Gerais de Balsas ( port. Microrregião dos Gerais de Balsas ) is a microregion in Brazil , part of the state of Maranhão . A component of the mezoregion South of the state of Maranhão . The population is 130,425 people (for 2010). Area - 36 503.315 km². The population density is 3.57 people / km².
