Para de Minas ( port. Microrregião de Pará de Minas ) is a microregion in Brazil , part of the state of Minas Gerais .
Part of the Mesoregion Agglomeration of Belo Horizonte , includes five municipalities.
The population is 123,379 people (for 2010). The area is 1,767.602 km². The population density is 69.80 people / km² [1] .

Economy
In the Para-di-Minas microregion, pig iron production and animal husbandry (poultry, dairy products, animal feed) are developed. If animal husbandry continues to grow rapidly, becoming one of the most successful in the state in terms of its indicators, the production of iron and steel is in decline [2] .
