“Endless Story 3” is the last part of the trilogy (the first two are Endless Story and Endless Story 2 ). The only film of the trilogy, the plot of which is not based on the book by Michael Ende (connected with the book only by common characters).

Story
Slip, the leader of a group of school bullies, mocking Bastian (the main character of the film), steals from the school library the magic book “The Endless Story”. Through the book, he gains power over the country of fantasy. As a result, fantasy turns into a kingdom of evil fantasies of a spoiled boy.
Fantasy Master asks Bastian to take the book away from Slip. To help Bastian from the wonderful world of fantasy to the real world are sent several fabulous creatures.
Criticism
The film was perceived negatively, both by critics and by most ordinary viewers. The IMDB movie has a very low rating of 3.1 out of 10 (as of 2016). However, the film was nominated for the award of the International Fantasy Film Festival "Fantasporto" .
