Siconius

Sikonyi is a hollow, rounded formation in plants of the genus Ficus , which include, in particular, figs ( Ficus carica , a fig tree, a fig tree). Siconia figs - figs, hence the "fig tree".

Ripe siconia is often called a fruit , although strictly speaking it is not a fruit, but a structure within which single-seeded fruits are located. On the inner side of the wall of the syconia are flowers . The ovaries of some flowers are closer to the wall, others - further.
