Scientific activity

In the creative activity of K.P. Persian, three main scientific directions can be defined, which are reflected in his works.

  • The first direction is connected with the theory of stability. He first introduced the concept of uniform stability as a first approximation. In his works, the first Lyapunov method was developed. Thanks to this, the basis of the asymmetric theory of linear equations of differential systems was created.
  • The second direction is the theory of infinite systems of differential equations, the development of a method of shortened systems based on the use of the Lipschitz “condition”. This method was further significant for the development of the theory of countable systems of equations. The results were generalized and published in the work “On a countable system of partial differential equations”.
  • The third area is probability theory and their applications. An original solution was given to the problem of the law of large numbers for cases where the study of random variables is independent.

Of particular note are the works of K.P. Persian, devoted to limit theorems, and the application of probability-theoretical methods for assessing minerals in Kazakhstan.

In the last years of his life, the scientist was actively engaged in the creation of a new apparatus for nonlinear functional spaces. [four]
