Story
This time, Pitkin is a butcher shopkeeper. Somehow he has to call an ambulance to the shopkeeper, Mr. Grimsdale, who swallowed his onion clock. After the ambulance arrives, Pitkin, within five minutes of screen time, tries to help the orderlies to transfer Grimsdale to the car, turning it inadvertently, then dropping the insensible body, then touching the door grills, etc. Finally, Grimsdale is somehow brought in to the hospital, where its director, Lord Hector ( Jerry Desmond ), is waiting for the visit of the millionaire Lady Brinkley, counting on her donation to the hospital, and for this she intends to show the guests her hospital in the best possible way.
However, Pitkin intervenes in Lord Hector's plans: visiting Mr. Grimsdale in a white uniform of a butcher, he first inadvertently inflicts minor damage to the guest’s car, and then before her eyes brings confusion to the hospital’s measured order, causing her indignation and especially the director’s indignation.
The lady leaves, canceling her tour of the hospital. Mr. Grimsdale, meanwhile, is being assisted and about to write him out. Pitkin, under the influence of his speech about “helping the suffering”, meanwhile embraces medical fantasies, he decides to enroll in certain medical “surgeon courses”, accidentally joins a crowd of dental practitioners and creates numerous ridiculous and dangerous situations, which leads the director to extreme indignation, and once again he orders Pitkin to be kicked out of the hospital.
Running away from the pursuers, Pitkin hides in the children's ward under the bed with a little girl patient Lindy, who fell into a severe shock after losing her parents. And, wishing to somehow amuse the girl who did not betray his presence, she also accidentally saves her; at the same time, he inadvertently gives the girl a promise to return, and this forces him to again look for opportunities to appear in the ill-fated hospital, which he does, again bringing with him confusion and absurdity, and in the end he is already there as a real patient. And now the girl he saved visits him in the ward of the department of traumatology ...
