Content
Story
The amazing story of the struggle of a young man with his own father, with the patriarchal way of life embodied by him, prevailing in some agricultural areas, in particular in Sardinia . The hero’s life passes in constant labor and loneliness: he grows numb from a lack of communication, surrounded only by hens and sheep; he is forced to endure beatings for the slightest fault; at 20, he can neither read nor write. Only in the army does he receive primary education, he is surprised to find that there are many wonderful things in the world - music, literature, linguistics. However, his father, who has lived his whole life in a vain desire to save money, cannot understand and accept this, put up with it.
